Greetings from Canada

Hello all! I stumbled accross this forum while I was searching for information regarding laws and kit cars in Canada. I have enjoyed immersing myself in the rich content that I have found here. I have traditionally been more of a lurker when it comes to forums, but I decided that I would join this community and introduce myself.

No solid plans on what I will be doing as far future car purchase, but I am a firm believer in doing my diligent research before commiting myself to anything.:thumbsup:

I hope that I will be able to contribute somehow to the community, and I wish to thank everyone on here for the wealth of information and hours of entertainment that I have so far enjoyed in this forum.

Welcome to the site.

I'm originally from the UK but am now living in B.C.... and am doing pretty much the same as you. I think research is key with something like this, it's a lot of cash so you need know that your getting a good product.
Lucky for us that there are a few to choose from, and you can get many of them at whatever stage you feel comfortable with, from kit to turnkey.

I'm still looking at what is available, plus the time i'll have to build, plus obviously the money....

David: You're not too far away from me. Unfortunately I don't get out to the east end of the city all that often, but I would definately be interested in what you have going on, so I may have to make a special trip out there at some point.

Ian: I will stop by your shop! You are located in Burlington correct? I have family in both Burlington and Waterdown so I am actually out in that direction quite often. Next time I plan a trip out that way I'll let you know. Possibly Friday afternoon, but I will get ahold of you when I am sure..

If you ever find yourself in Ottawa there are a few of us up here as well. Myself and Simon are on the road, Rick is mid-build and there is reportedly another local GT40 that I've not seen yet.
