GT-R

Hey Fran...is assembly similar to the SLC? Anything stand out as being more/less difficult?

Whats the cost? Coyote fits correct?

Fran, The body photos do not show molded headlight "receivers". Is the kit going with headlight assemblies? Does the A/C take advantage of the centerline intake at the base of the windscreen?
Mike

Headlight buckets are moulded into the nose, the headlights are the same as used in the Roberston GT...Hella check out pictures of their cars...remember this is not a Ford GT..its a GT-R.

The AC units is the same as the SLC ...it does not use the front vent , we have kept this sealed.

Yos,
similar build to an SLC but with much more room in all areas...interior and engine bay etc.
The build will be easier as we learned a lot from the SLC and the GT-R is the best of any of our products to date.
We have hundreds of hours into the body alone as a race car is not the same as a car for our customer in many respects and as you guys all want a perfect fit with no body work (certainly not a race car bodyfit) we have to strive and meet those expectations.

The cost is a little higher than the SLC and is only available as one package, the Coyote with the factory supercharger option is the perfect engine package

...remember this is not a Ford GT..its a GT-R.

...which prompts a 'stoopid' question if I may?

In order to properly replace the windshield on a Ford GT, the front fenders have to be removed. Is the same true of the GT-R, or is its nose designed as a 'one piece' unit that simply tilts out of the way in SL-C fashion?

(Pls forgive my obvious lack of 'savvy'.)

The nose is one piece...meaning a much better body and panel fit, it does not tilt as there is no reason for it to.
We have also created our own front leading edge /fence line of the base of the windshield surround.

So in short...no drama

This was the MATECH Ford GT chassis #1. A few years ago it was purchased in Germany and brought to the USA. The owner had it as Spring Mtn. for a time. It was wonderful to watch and hear it moving at full speed on track.

The openings in the front of the mirrors..... are those forward facing cameras, some type of aero treatment or just very large deer whistles??

The owner of that car passed back in Feb. He also bought all the moulds from Matech as he was planning on making body panels to sell to Ford GT owners.

Yes they are
I have always been proud of our relationship with Dave and Andrea Robertson and their cars
Our GTR will be a great homage car to their racing efforts
