GT109 at the Orlando Festival of Speed

One of the center attractions this year was GT109. It was rumored to be going up for sale at the Mecom Auction but no one was able to confirm that. In Ronnie Spain's book it was noted the car was undergoing a lengthy restoration which is obviously complete. The pictures were taking in the staging area as we were waiting to load for the show. As the later pics indicate, for the event the setting was a lot more "regal" complete with a sherriff's deputy to guard it.

Beautiful car and restoration, thanks for posting. Interesting that it appears not to have lower lens covers installed.

Hi Michael, I'm betting the lower light covers were left off since the body was cut to expose the large spot lights, which I've not seen on other roadsters.
