UK is easy compared to EU ! Check Car & Classics, GT40 Enthusiasts, etc..... 70-80kGBP is at the lower end for a solid completed car (with IVA) by now. Figure 90-100k and up or be a top negotiator - some cars have not sold for a while...

Hi Chris ....... Total Headturners usually have several listed. At your price point you will most likely be looking at a GTD or a Tornado that was built around 10 years ago. A more recent Tornado or Southern GT is likely to be circa 80-90K. However, as all things in life the price is negotiable.
It's probably worth going to the kit car show at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern at the end of May. There are always a number of GT40 replicas on display outside and you may be lucky and find one 'For Sale'.
Whilst at the show you can visit the AK Sportscars and Tornado stands and study what a current high quality build looks like.
Also AK have an Open Day on Saturday 9th May which is another opportunity to study cars in build and complete. And again you never know ..... someone may have a car for sale.
