GT40s at HSR-West Phoenix historics race

So I'm sitting in the garage waiting for my next session and a BEAUTIFUL GT40 in Gulf colors drives by...as I gaze at it admiringly, it's right rear wheel falls off and it comes to a grinding halt.

A bunch of people went to help and by the end of the day I saw it driving under it's own power but I was wondering what the rest of the story was!

I also saw a nice MkII replicar in silver and black but never had time to stop and talk to them.

It would be interesting to hear if anyone knows of the outcome of
the Gulf GT40 wheel issue, lets just call it Lucile. You know what I mean.
