Hi there, I am rather new to this but I do see it as a great way to help one another with these great projects! I have a question on Gurney Weslake heads as I am rebuilding one of my old race cars that was well known in NZ and Aussie as the Sidchrome Mustang. T&D make roller rockers for them, part #7900 for racers net $1280.00, Harland Sharp dont know what sort of head this is and have requested more info. Its engine is its original 366 Cleveland based flat tappet unit. As part of its rebuild I want to roller cam it and even though Murray Bunn and Lyall williamson (Sidchrome and PDL mustang engineers) say the original rockers were quite robust, for the sake of reliability and spares I have chosen to upgrade. Has anyone used these rockers in competion and if so have they found any weaknesses, do they fit under stock rocker covers. does anyone know of a slide valve injection system for sale. Also does anyone know of a set of Chevy 4 valve weslake heads for sale similar to the ones used on the Bruce Bellis mk3 cortina that ran in Osca and Sports Sedans in the late 70s, I believe that set went to aussie.
