Welcome to GT40S Alan. There’s a lot of information on this site for not only replicas, but also historical race cars.
Enjoy the forum.

Regards Brian

Thank you for the welcome.

I hope to find lots of info and help here to build GT40 mk I and GT40 mk II Slot Cars for sale. I would like to be a supporter of the Site so I can show our cars and Slot Car race Sets for sale once our first GT40's are available.

Let me know what to do to support the Site so I can show the cars we are making soon.

Sincerely

Alan Smith

Looking forward to seeing the cars. To support the site there should be a link on the top left of the page called "Support GT40s" which has options for support.

Might just set up a HO scale track so I can revive some memories. We didn’t have high tech cars or elaborate tracks like this when I was young.

It's good to see Alan on here. He is very close to getting a 1/24 scale version of the GT40 in production and I've been trying to help him with details. We even got to race the prototype versions last year for the 24h event he does annually in Tacoma.

The starting field for the 2023 Tacoma 24h:
AP1GczPtSXVSc2XxujeGnMBW8bt0yjhusPLD6EJEA8mTwAAYJjTeWFJHdpfsxXjXh6Mi4lAKTikAb5Y5I2RfkHP7VCyIbfAWl8trIsi0PTXPQ0pzi930Fq3whJPhc0dGoEFEpaUmkGEKjH6vcpScy0rQ4IErRg=w1330-h599-s-no-gm

The Scuderia Kouba Mk II:

(The clear pieces are frosty because the tooling still needed to be polished when those pieces were shot. Production pieces will be clear with the interior and lighting visible.)

At the moment, he's specifically looking for some paint codes and pantones to get the 1966 cars accurately painted. I posted this a while ago:

If anyone has further detailed info, it'd be a great help to get these correctly done. Thanks in advance, and welcome Alan!
