Horn and lift controls

Hello people,
I was thinking of using a paddle shiffters on the steering wheel to work the horn and lift has anyone looked in to this? I have looked around on the net to see if there is a kit that will bolt behind the wheel that will do this but so far no luck. any one come across such a thing?

See This product, or use a Corvette steering wheel with the paddle shifter controls already there, and connect to one of many steering wheel controller adapters as I am doing.

That looks kinda cool but surely that will only work if your steering wheel is in the correct orientation?

Thanks Will, only thing I found with IR signals they only work in a direct line of sight to the receiving sensor, but that is the right idea.
Will do you have the Vette wheel sorted out yet? where did you post your pic's on it again? Very nice piece of work. I seen in the Mimod thread something about an adapter that plugs straight it to it to make the buttons do what you want ?
