How can this be?
The Australian Government banned firearms several years ago.
The answer is not rocket science, only the good guys handed in their weapons. The bad guys don't give a toss for the law and held onto theirs and keep importing them.
Once again a knee-jerk reaction designed to gain votes has dis- armed decent citizens and is allowing criminals to prosper.
