A Dave Apr 30, 2006 #2 Look at the right side of the gearbox towards the rear on the cast steel bit, the number on the side of the steel section should start with 016. Then do a search of this forum and find all the info about your box from the number on the side.

M Mike Dozier May 1, 2006 #4 The suffix is stamped (not cast) on the top of the bellhousing. Frequently have to wire brush clean to read it. MikeD
