Are you going the whole Shelby modifications route Pete? I.e. changed a-arm mods and above spring traction bars?
I sold my '66 fastback in January when there was a chance to sell and not lose money. In retrospect that was foolish of me. Been missing it every day!

It will be a semi Shelby clone if there is such a thing. The motor for instance will remain fairly de-tuned to be tractable in traffic. Suspension will be upgraded but not to full race car spec.
I want to be able to go for long Sunday drives in comfort in this, as well as have a bit of fun on track days

Pete- That is going to be a sweet looking Mustang. I have had several Mustangs over the years a 1968 coupe, 1969 Mach 1, 1964 1/2 Mustang a 1965 K Fastback and Coupe and many more. The 1965 is one of my favorites and the Mustangs have been a Passion of mine since I was old enough to drive. Keep us posted on the cars progress please.

Allen I will, but we seem to have hijacked Al's thread so I'll start a new one on the Pony car. Here.http://www.gt40s.com/forum/paddock/29299-petes-pony-car-restoration.html.
