Having made our legal advisor (Ronny C Raygun) aware of your previous posting he has asked us to submit the following for your consideration:

Thanks again for the effort with your design real cold rum
The major issue with this submission is not the fact that April looked over the legal aspects and indeed didn't it get submitted on time but the problems go a lot deeper than that

From the surface your design sure would appeal to many people and indeed it looks the part
However I assume you are guaranteeing that it meets the strict uk /euro approval process and also it can be used from day one.

On investigation in your design there are many areas that need major work for it to be usable. Also it is way short of what is required here legally and then the fact that the general drawing had been rushed
If we were to take it and rehash it to meet the above it would be only right to re-brand it as ours as it would be way different to yours and a misleading situation to other unsuspecting users

I appreciate that some customers/investors will enjoy the product testing and some don't even care whether they get to use the logo but as long as they are aware from the off then it's not an issue to them.
The uk and myself have very high standards of safety and not sure the sharp edges of your design could be ever legalised
With regards

Ronny C Raygun

just let my financial advisor Sheriff L Caught look over this design and took on board his comments

After looking at the Real Cold Rum entry, I can see from the off it does have potential and will have a Market in it's current unfinished/developed state.
However it's conceptors should make buyers totally aware of his situation and never coss the boundary of selling to a non deamer as then the illusion actually manifests into one of a medieval "pig in a poke" scam

What is disturbing is that looking at your online sales brouchure it seems blessed with moderation and the Real Cold Rum brand in general seems a perfect option to all users.

unfortunately you failed to read the competition smallprint - having submitted your design should you now wish to use this, in any form, you must pay us a further £2500 for the privilege.

Failure to pay will result in a visit from our solicitor, Ronald (with his glow in the dark raygun) and expenses for his trip to NZ will be added to your account

many thanks for the great many of you that have already submitted their designs - probably an oversight on my part but to be EU compliant the backsides also need to conform to all the specific rules and regs.

I realise this may require a great deal of extra work / time and money (USA + NZ excepted) but unfortunately rules is rules - however we are prepared to extend the closing date by anything up to a year at which point a final decision will be made.

here's 1 received already - hope it proves of assistance? :drunk:

Dear Gazza
Here is my entry for the logo competition. Its a real stab in the back but with a good airflow with following wind i presume it hopefuly meets your crtieria of compliance and its designed both ways. Its sort of based on whats out there and proven grounds at bruntingthorpe but with nessesary adjustments to add enhancements to the illusion of compliance. In actual fact i appreciate that any actual official paperwork could be a punt of 12months away although "E" never suggested that anyway. Its a douL approach that will win this competition backwards to be able to enjoy its roadworthyness. Looking forward to feedback
best hope

Well just how cynical can you get! I personally know Dick Tracey and Terry Butcher, but can't think who Sean Wetsock is..

Whatever made you think that it was a scam?
