Introduction to Bonneville

I probably should have been better prepared for running on the Salt Flats of Bonneville, but,it was a fun, if not a successful attempt. This video will give you a feeling of what it is like at this unique venue. No prizes, nothing but a timing slip for your efforts.

If you are an automobile enthusiast, a trip to Bonneville during Speed Week should be at or near the top of your bucket list.

Grassroots drivers. Cars built at home with little or no sponsorship. The sound (and the feeling) of cars approaching, passing by, then disappearing into the distance at speeds hundreds of miles per hour faster than the freeway.

It's difficult to describe. You have to experience it in person. Just do it.
