Amazing isn't it?? I mean to coast for all that ways and be spot-on target with no trajectory changes... Well, it's just amazing...

So the next time someone talks about scientists and their hoaxes, or asserts their (religious or not) belief system over a rational, tested scientific argument, they could look at this and remember how important science is, and how far science has got them?

I assume you're trying to equate (and want us to associate) this math/physics-based, infinitely repeatable 'scientific achievement' with the fraud-based, often debunked predictions/theories/claims being made by the climate change/global warming "science" crowd?

'Apples and ox carts, Tim. I believe you know that.

I think Tim was referring more to a sense of distrust in scientists and their motives and techniques in general that many of our members express.

If the shoe fits, well, wear it and be prepared to be ridiculed in kind.

I agree with Tim, Science is important, on the other hand when science becomes beholden to political parties and create a myth to hold onto their research grants they deserve to be criticised.
Btw I also think the money spent by NASA to put the module on Mars could have been better spent elsewhere.

Nice film, just wondering to what extent it is based on scientific facts as it even ignores the fact that there are no sounds in space.

I chuckled at that myself.

Some of the 'science' depicted in the 'film' (e.g.: sounds made in space) suggests it must have been created by CC/GW-ers since they like to create their own reality!
