maybe some progress?

This week I stopped by my local exotic car garage, Grand Touring, and 1072 was back in for service...of course this got me motivated to get back on my GT40 project, which has been languishing due to work (my day job) and my inability to get off my butt. Anyway, the current plan is to try to get the car to roller status in the next few months- suspension in, steering in, body on chassis, etc. I will then go get the car from Safir in Ohio and bring it to MD to rough in the brakes, wiring, plumbing, fuel, etc. Then paint the tub, and then begin the final assembly. The delays are due to me, not to the Safir folks who have been very helpful (and patient). So...with a little luck, we'll be driving in 2005. Watch out, world. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
