MINI GTD40 and GTD Manuals

Hi all, I just acquired the Mini GTD40 built by Ray Christopher. It's a Mini based on the the GTD40 chassis.

I am trying to learn about the GT40 builds, because even though mine has a lot of custom components, there should be some overlap. I am also looking for any GTD manuals if anyone has any.

Hi Kent,
I always liked that car. I have the GTD manuals and some GTD40 info, send me a PM with your email and I will send them to you. I have had my GTD40 for a few years now. Also met Ray Christopher a few times over in the Isle of Man.

Here is a link to a Youtube video about Ray Christopher and how GTD came about. A bit of GT40 replica history from KVA to GTD. Some interesting info about variants and numbers built. Without Ray and GTD the GT40 replica world would look a lot different as the Southern GT was developed from the GTD by Mick Sollis and has now become the AK40.
I will look out some pics of Ray and his aluminium open GT40 at the Manx Classic a few years ago and some recent pics of some of the cars Ray had a hand in.
