Mk4 Dimensions

Hi all,
Im curious what the Mk4 guys have assumed are the proper dimensions of the car. I have seen several spec sheets that all seem to have dimensions.

Mostly I have seen the following

Length / Width / Height

4,430 mm (174.4 in) / 1,710 mm (67.3 in) / 1,000 mm (39.4 in)

But I have seen lengths vary from 170 to 175 and heights vary from 38.5 to 40.5

Did ford ever release a spec on the car? If anyone has a resource they might share on the true dimensions I would appreciate it!

A complex chassis to build. If you were serious I would first look for a body kit and the chassis would be made to fit this.

Appreciate your thoughts. I am not trying to build a car right now. This is currently just a research project.

I do not know if this is any help but you could contact the Henry Ford Museum where J-5 the 1967 Le Mans winner is kept. I have Ronnie Spains book and his figures are not yours.
