hello everyone new to this forum,I have a roaring forties gt40 383 windsor quad ida,s etc etc,after 3 or so years oF track use i have an 016 transaxle that is totally scrap metal,i am having difficulty locating a replacement here in australia,if anyone out has a lead on where to find one even if it is overseas,I would greatly appreciate their help,as I am having withdrawal sysmptons & need to get back on the racetrack

Welcome Daz, with a motor of that calibre I'd suggest a trans upgrade --especially for track use. The Audis will be fine for a cruiser, but track days will bring out the worst in your mechanicals
Our experience with the Porsche G50 trans is that there has been more engine blow ups than trans failures.--I'll say that these transes (G50)will handle more than any Windsor can throw at it.
