New Chrysler mid-engine Supercar

Has everyone seen photos of the ME Four-Twelve unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show? They claim it was developed in
(8) months by six people! Too early to tell whether it will
make production, but if it does, it could be something really special.

Perhaps when it makes production they will call it the "AspenVolare" ?????

I have a supercar I designed that will do 0-60 in 1.9 seconds and exceed the speed of light......if you turn on the headlamps, you will not see anything...

The words "Chrysler" and "Supercar" are oximorons...

I have to burst your bubble, but then you haven't got a clue. That is one of the most outstanding pieces of engineering I've seen in 30 years. The engine is a 12cyl version developed for the Maybach that MB uses. The car was indeed developed in under 6 months by less than six people. Nobody outside of these 6 people knew about it at Chrysler. Neat car. The GT40 looked great, Porsche had their 10cyl supercar, Audi had their W12 supercar. If you didn't make at least 500hp, you weren't in the running for top supercar.
What a year!!

Autoweek reports 11 months. Still, that's damn fast. I'm sure that more than six people worked on this thing, reading the article it mentions suppliers from seven countries, plus the custom engine. Nice design.
