New From Continental (and Hoosier): A 200tw Endurance Tire

Continental has a new 200tw tire on the way aimed at endurance use. AER, WRL, ChampCar and Lemons: the Extreme Contact Force.

This might be perfect for a once-a-year (maybe two for more limited use) replacement for most track cars.

The sizes shown are all pretty low profile. Good for a modern car, not so period for us drivers of old cars. Always good to have more options.

I've seen the new tires and it looks good, but what caught my attention most were the new wheels. Hmm, I don't know, but black rims always made me think of off-road tires and wheels. It might just be due to the fact that I always mount black HD wheels on my truck instead of my race car, where I'd mount chrome wheels instead.

Sizes offered are great, for me at least! Finally, a rear tire with enough diameter to fill the wheel well on my car, without going to a 40TW compound! Looking forward to seeing some reviews of these.
