Oil filter adaptor

Can anyone tell me what thread the oil filter adaptor is where it screws into the block on a 302 block.:idea:
It looks like it should be 1" UNF and it is 12 TPI but the dimension at .974" seems to big for 1" UNF

I am making an adaptor for a return oil line from a dry sump system and wanted to go bigger than the 3/4 UNF 16 TPI that the filter is.

IIRC its an odd one, 1-1/16" (1.0625") by 12 tpi, cant be 100% on that, did have it in a book around here somewhere, but book is hiding- or to be truthful eyes are not seeing!!

Guess I'l have to brush up my turning skills and cut a thread in the lathe.
Definitely won't be able to buy anything that thread.

Earl's make a #12 1 1/16 x 12 tpi oil cooler adapter for a Ford off the shelf. part No 585112ERL it will screw into the block for a dash 12 fitting
