In which case it may be one of the two built in High Wycombe in the early nineties. It's not normal aluminium tube but, apparently, some sort of trick aluminium which
was only produced for the 917 and , so I was told, the manufacturer went back into a limited production again purely for these two replica frames. I saw them being built in High Wycombe as my GTD was in the same workshop having roll over bars and engine and aircon being fitted at the same time.
