It does have a little bit of a different perspective than what I'm reading in the car mags like Car and Driver, Road and Track, Car, Automobile, etc., etc.
I find it devastatingly sad that a Ford official is making a comment like this in 2003.
"Beyond the technology, however, was the philosophy of bringing together a talented group of people, giving them clear goals and hard deadlines and then getting out of the way and letting them do the work. This might be the most important piece of knowledge gleaned from creating the Ford GT."
I thought people learned this sort of thing by the end of their junior year in high school.
I think people do learn that out of high school. But it has been my experience in the corporate world that while people might have such widsom corporatations do not. It is unfortunate, a lot of good ideas get stiffled.
