Anyone going? I'll be there on Fri (tomorrow). I know it's short notice but I'll log in to check before heading out tomorrow or give a call:

if you might be heading out there.

No,

But I'll be at the Historic CanAm races in Sept.

Chris the Cascade Cobras car club will be at the Historic's tomorrow. Dave may be there with his SPF MK II. Saturday is usually your best day to go to this event. I work all day and just can't make it this year.

Thanks for the heads up Allen. I won't make it either as I am booked tomorrow already but had a good time today.

PICS for anyone who's interested.

Jim Click had his GT there but it didn't run today (Fri). Cary had his DRB demo car on display (didn't see him though). The car looked STUNNING without him though!

Chris thanks for sharing the pictures. I usually go all three days and this will be the first one I have missed since I started going to them. BTW - Jim Click ran his 289 AC Cobra last year and got tangled up with a GT350 R and a Corvette. They really don't hold back when they race.

Jim got tangled up again with a Corvette. I took these this afternoon on the track:

Very nice!! The more and more I think about it and talk to people in the know, I'm thinking I'm going to go with a N/A 4 rotor whenever I build my SL-C. Longevity and price are the main reasons. LOL Everyone says turbocharging a 4 rotor is asking for trouble and crazy expense. Oh well, we'll see. That's still a while down the road.

laters,

Great shots, Brent - life truly is all about timing, isn't it?

Were you a corner worker for the weekend?
