RCR at the NEC

Gents...

for many people that dont follow the RCR Forum,
I would like to inform everyone that RCR will be at the
Classic and Sports Car Show at the Birmingham NEC ...Oct 27-30th Oct

We will be in HALL 4 close to the Enthusiast stand ..

Chris Melia and Joe Tavani (RCR.UK.) will be on hand to help with any and all questions..obviously I will be hanging out too.

There will be a Black Mk1 GT40 Deluxe plus kit "as delivered"
so a true feel for the kits quality is evident and also a rolling chassis minus bodywork....everything will be laid bare for all to see.

We will also have a couple of the RCR supplied engine packages on display.

I hope to be able to put faces to names of guys that I have met on this Forum...

Look forward to seeing you there

Regards

Fran

Fran & Chris, looking forward to seeing you guys there.
I hope to make the show this Friday and can't wait to see the cars 'in the flesh'.

It will be good to finally meet in person. :chug:

Cheers,
John.

Fran and Chris,

Ended up giving my own little plug to the forum and your stand at the NEC. Just didn't expect it to get published!

Looking forward to seeing the cars at the show and hopefully we can talk some more.

Miles

Hi Miles

thanks for the publicity we are all looking forward to putting faces to names at the NEC show this weekend, its good news that Fran is making the trip to help out with his product knowledge.

See you there, the cars are loaded up and ready to go.

regards

Chris.

Well done guys! Stand and cars looked just great and it looks like there is a lot of interest, judging by the number of Business cards I saw being taken.

Seriously though, was great to view the chassis again and also meet a few names from the forum, including 'JayPsc' whose freshly imported RCR kit was on display, complete with motor nearby - (The bodied black car) - Very nice!!:)

Was great to finally meet everyone & get to see my new toy at last, lots of nice cars there (especially in the MPH'06 exhibition). The amount of attention the RCRs got was amazing considering they were the only unbuilt cars there & were surrounded by exotica.
Engines were looking very sweet too, can't wait to fire this baby up & annoy my neighbours :pepper:

Just like to say thanks to all those who came and said hello at the stand. It was an Epic weekend.

I have posted some more pics here appolgies if there a bit dark as I had to rush to take them. The stand was very busy every day and the feedback was all positive. I think there will be quite a few RCR cars heading to the UK in the coming months.

Thanks

Chris and Fran, Was great to finally meet you two. From what I saw you guys didn't get much chance to take a rest ;)

The car looks great, and I hope all those business cards mature into orders for you.

Jay, was nice to meet you too. I hope all those greasy fingerprints wash off easily. I'd have been telling everyone to keep thier hands off :p

Hi Guys
I would also like to thank everyone that helped out (Fran, Joe, Nick, Andy and Paul), to make this fist public show in the UK a most successful event. I would like to especially thank Jay and Stewart for letting us use their new RCR 40's for the show.

We were all kept incredibly busy all weekend answering questions about the RCR's and the chassis was extremely well received by all.
One notable visitor to the stand was Barry Lee (World Hot rods Champion) who praised the chassis design and was most interested to learn about its concept and manufacture.

As Joe said I believe this will hopefully open the gates to many more RCR's coming to the UK

Gents...

I am back in the shop ...in body only at present as I am knackered from such a whirlwind weekend....

Great Job everyone and thanks to all the enthusiasts that stopped by to say hello.

It was great to see the GT40 Enthusiast booth having tons of traffic .....good stuff all round.

We had tons of Lola interest too...which is a great thing as I personally love them.

Please dont hesitate to get hold of Chris M. or Joe T for more info on the European availability......still only a 16 week manufacturing delivery....

Nice stand! Who's motors are those there, that is, I'm sure someone is getting them? Needs a Lola Spider there!

Did the Atom folks come to that show, anything new from them for those that went?
