Me too--but I cannot read that sort of stuff and let it pass. the fact of that matter is that the Chev cannott be used on the track successfully( ie long term or even for a length of time in the short term) without very serious modification(and exspense). FULL STOP.
What irritates me more so is the sort of thinking behind that post-- ie those people spending money and time building race engines are idiots-- they could save a lot of money by the way the poster figured out!
The requirements for track engine is totally different to street use-I do not know how many different ways you can say it.
To follow that point a little further-- the idea that people that spend a lot of money on car ( as distinct from building one) are fools because-gee-look-- "I saved all this money" and I have got just as much performance etc are looking thru very rose colored glasses. X amount of performance generally comes out at X$ or X+$$ etc -anyway you go about it.
