Reunion - Thank You!

Nice job Rick! I know how much work it is to put these sort of events on (from the two air shows I was a director for) and commend you and your team for your outstanding efforts and excellent results…Thank you!

Enjoyed meeting many of you.
Great job Rick….
Are you available to do weddings and Bar Mitzvah‘s?
Sure.....NOT!

As late as Thursday evening I was asking Karen what countries don't extradite to the US. Somehow it pretty much came together. We had a couple of extraordinary volunteers like Jason and Paul who grabbed a job, figured it out better than I could explain it and then ran it better than I could have imagined (or done myself). We thank all those who volunteered and helped to all of the entrants and attendees have a great time. It does take a village and I was the village idiot!

The turnout was impressive, the cars outstanding and the support from the PVGP was incredible. We sold out of much of the event merchandise, t-shirts, metal signs, etc. We will be able to offer much of it on a pre-paid build-to-order basis. We will post when this goes live.

And big thanks to Ben L. who very generously shared his Road Coupe P10130 with all and gave author John S. Allen a ride.

As someone who has organised an event gor the Gt40club…. In my case the 2010 Le Mans classic I know how much work and stress the job takes so congratulations on sorting the event. It looks like it was well attended.

Big congratulations for arranging the meeting

Still looking for a total count of GT cars including replicas as I think I may still hold the record of 85 who took part in an unrestricted half hour on the track. (No injuries but a few cars worse for wear)
On top of that there were 23 “Originals” entered for the racing

Working on the count. As we had cars registered under different organizers, the count varies, but we will confirm the attendance soon. Sadly, so many cars are now in museums or private collections that will not move them nor participate. We were told "No, the car cannot be run" Well, we don't need it on track (although it should be) but a static display will work but no dice. They don't understand that exposure drives people to their museums.

It looks like a wonderful showing and wish I could have made it out for the beautiful weather. One I am sorry I missed. Thanks for the great pictures.

In 2021 Ford Performance brought out a surprise guest at our Rally 13 and track day in Arizona. P1075.. What a pleasant surprise.
