Be careful out there. I was offered this today. This ZF is actually for sale in the US, on ebay there. I’ve contacted the real seller so he’s informed.

Thanks for the reminder that there are still a lot of rotten bastards out there still trying to scam us out of our hard earned money. I had someone try to scam me on. Ricardo in Scotland a few years ago. . Dave Morten offered to go inspect it for me and suddenly it was no longer available.

If something for sale is too good to be true, try using Google Lens (if you're using the Chrome Browser) to search for the source of the photos.

The transaxle image on the left in the screen shot has a distinctive piece of cardboard behind it. When asked, Google Lens provided a bunch of info about the transaxle. It also provided a link to eBay with the original photo.

Yes, thats what I used, reverse image lens, then contacted the ebay guy. Also emails came at crazy times at night…
