SHUT LINES, FIT GAPS show pictures of yours

Hallo
I´m in the process of aligning my RCR´s body parts.

After 25 h of adjusting i´m pretty close to where i want to be.
my Target are shutlines with a gap of 1/8". THe only areas where it is difficult to tell from all the pictures on this forum how to do it, is the A-pillar.
More exact the area where the frontclip, door and the base of the spider a pillar comes together. Also along the a pillar towards the door and the corner where the A-pilar extends into the roof.

Would appriciate detailed pictures of this areas of replicas and of originals. PLease post them here.

Thanks

Tom:

I have just started with the body panels as well. I am guessing mine will end up closer to 3/16 to a 1/4. An eigth inch would be most impressive.

Pics of the originals that I have seen look closer to 1/4 inch, and often lines that were far from straight.

Chuck,

right now most of my gaps are already around or below 4/25".
This is now the raw fiberglass. Plus Filler and paint should get me to 1/8 ".
I have my self commited to do a perfect body work. If it takes longer to do so, than i will take all the time needed. I´m probably shooting a brighter color. The darkest option i think of so far is guardsman blue, but as i am not realy a fan of metallic colors, it will most likely be a strong red ( if so than rosso corsa) or something even more flashing (like the new GT3 RS orange). The drawback of this lighter colors are, that shut lines are more visible than on darker cars, so they better be nice and even, especially taking in account the attention this cars draw.
I know it is very challenging, but so far i´m positively suprised about the fit of the panels. It is more symetrical than i expected. Everything i measured so far is max 1/4 " different from left to right hand side.
If you ever have laid your hands on a nine eleven, you know that this tolerance is pretty good. They are oftentimes more of than that.
I´m very keen on seeing your car next week and exchange experiences
