SLC car number?

I see that some build threads will say car#53, 50, 24, 002 etc. On my MSO is there a part of the ID/serial number that will identify or designate my roller number.

Thx, Sharkey

Me too Me too.

Sharky- did you get your build manual already? If yes and on a file can you shoot it over to me. When does yours comes in? I am thinking mine will be nov/dec timeframe.

Hello Troy - Fran will send you the build manual when you place a deposit/order for your car. The car has been delivered, but it's currently out of state.

Most people got their chassis number from Superlite, except for some of the first few cars none as far as I know have any stamping via the factory (Fran?). I was the first to order an SLC and mine has no number stamped in the chassis (for instance).

So when you see or hear owners connecting a number to their car it is what the factory told them it was or from the private owners list that has been established for SLC cars (in part to sort out such questions).

I placed my order for a SLC the second week of January and I still haven't received the build manual or the car.

Well, let me rephrase that - I placed my order and a couple weeks later I followed up and asked for the build manual. It arrived on CD 2 days later.
