This weekend Rob Mesa, Allan Z and I arrived at Roberto's shop (Stage7) to "help" him work on his car and binge on everything SLC. The general idea was to help get the last few things done on the plumbing, wiring and engine details to start the car. And have a good time, talking about the cars, where we were in our respective builds, and how we each were going to have the fastest, coolest, etc SLC of them all.
Luckily, the real work was being done by Roberto and actual mechanics at the shop, so our Mad Builder Skilz weren't really called into play except for a few small tasks. And of course, a lot of discussion about the SLC, and how we were working the details of our respective builds.
We didn't actually get the car ready to fire, but we did take a few pics of the car and the really cool Jenvey ITBs on it. This is going to be a stunning car, with more power than the 01 race car- and driven on the street.
Here is a picture of the Jenvey TBs with the horns being assembled.

All up, a great day, and lots of fun!
