some question

With all the hype going on in Le Mans at this moment I start to get confused ...
in the museum they(Le Mans organizers) show most of the winners. and some exceptional cars...

and they show the 1968. winner GT40..........

convinced that the 1968 car was re-used again in 1969 ... according Jacky Ickx it was special that the same chassis won twice the 24h...

so for the Le Mans expo... they... transformed the 1969 winner back to the 1968..... or do I drink and think too much?

Check out Horsman's book.

Paul, I don't believe they have got chassis 1075, unless on temporary loan from the States. The car shown in your pic is 1969 form, but I guess it is a replica. After all, Ford keep dressing up 1008 in various guises (even MkII) and pretending it is something else! Cheers - Peter

CONCORSO D'ELEGANZA VILLA D'ESTE 2023
the weekend of 19th to 21st of May 2023.

Chassis 1075 was at least in Europe around end of May and not too far away from LeMans....???

1075 won in 1968 as number 9 and in 1969 as number 6 per Ronnie Spain. The car is owned by Rob Walton (Walmart) and he is the person driving the car and the last video. It was at the Concorso Villa d'este in May of 2023 and at LeMans.
