Source for dynamat

Folks,

Looking for the least expensive source for dynamat insulation materials?

I know several places have it ... but like Eastwood's not exactly inexpensive!

Mike, I only used dynamat extreme in areas that would be visible. As to the price, I found it doesn't vary enough to make a difference, but I got mine at Best Buy in the stereo dept. The most cost effective sound deadening material I found (thanks to one of the competition auto sound forums) was high temp mastic from McMaster-Carr. I was able to buy enough of this PLUS fire retardand polyethelene foam (mainly for temp) at 1/2-2/3 what I would have paid for plane dynamat. It is much easier to work with also.

DYnamat is pretty dense and heavy stuff. I'd look to alternative sound deadening materials on a GT40, such as Lynn suggested.
