Spark Plug Wires and Routing

Can someone please point me to a thread or show me the best way to route the spark plug wires? I would think that under the headers would work best but none of the standard kits come that way. So any ideas out there?

It really comes down to personal choice on what looks best for you.

The main consideration is to use high temp resistant silicone leads and boots and keep them away from the headers and pipes to prevent them being burned by the exhausts as the temperature can get extreme at times.

Even the best leads will get burned if they are too close to the exhausts.

I recently put a set of wires on a motor that were supplied with a heat shield, I think it was an extra cost, and the wires werent cheap but the quality was top notch. They installed from the top, but so far no problems with header heat. The boots and wires are silicone, and the heat shields were a woven heat resistant material that went over the boots.
Check out Nology wires

Richard,
I threw away my Roush from the top wires after burning 2 of them even with woven heat 'boots' added. Got a universal set and ran it from underneath with woven boots. Peace of mind is worth it.
