Talked to Superformance at the Monterey Historics last month. They said that for sure the GT40 was coming and they they had 17 firm orders (deposits). I told them that I have been waiting to see their car because I am ready to purchase (a 1075 Gulf car). I gave them all my information and told them to contact me (I want to see the car before I put down a deposit). I asked them about the gearbox and they stated that it would be an Audi unit. Not the same one that the CAV uses though, they said it was not strong enough. I also stated that I thought that they were going to make their own ZF and they again stated that it would be an Audi, sorry I do not remember the exact one. They also said that the car is going to be an "exact" copy. 2005 for delivery date, I hope so!
