Sway bar questions

I'm at the point where I need to add them if I am going to so just a couple questions please. :)

Do most run them?

Are they more or less similar in shape and diameter across manufacturers or are they sort of unique to specific builds? This is the same car after all.

Anyone have a photo or two of theirs to share to get the shape? I may end up having them made. Really like to source them in the US if possible as shipping is a lot from the UK relative to the cost of them.

Thanks!

Hi Darrin

Yes I think everyone is running them.
For the front you can buy stock racing splined end bars with arms that fit in various lengths to suit and all the accessories needed.

For the rear either buy from one of the replica manufacturers or,as I did, have one made up which was not expensive.

My front one is 1 inch and the rear is 5/8".

Check out some of the dirt/modified guys...I buy a lot from Coleman for one Home Page
They will do a custom for you, and as Dimi said all kinds of attachment arms and hardware.
Cheers

There is a GT here in the Seattle area which doesn't use them front or rear and the handleing is breath taking. Had a great ride around Mercer Island. Reminded me of down hill ski racing. rt

Check out Speedway Engineering in the US.
I bought some bars from them and their range of bars, parts, and accessories, and service is great.
