Switch for dual full pumps?

Hi all,

I'm in the process of planning out my dash switch arrangement for my RCR40. Specifically what type of switch to use to move between the two fuel pumps. I was at first considering a separate switch for each but then started thinking of using either an on/off/on or an off/on/on single switch. I'm thinking that the off/on/on type hooked up two both fuel pumps might be the better solution since I don't pass through a moment when both fuel pumps are "off".

What is everyone using? Advice please?

Thanks!
Chet

Which ever button rocks your boat.
Its a big panel to fill:)
You could do one button each pump, incase one pump goes on strike you could, or you can run both at the same time if opening up fully on the track. Many options, or even a 3rd pump joined as a reserve:)
Diodes by the fuel gauges for which tank/pump is active…

Just an "on-off-on" switch same style as your other switches.
Your fuel pumps will be powered by separate relais & fuses.

Left on = left fuel tank, right on = right fuel tank. Middle is fuel pumps shut off.
This is what I had……and if doing it over I would run a two pole switch so one side of the switch selects the pump and the other selects the fuel gauge so you run one fuel gauge which shows the level of whichever tank is being drawn from.
