The Bumper

All of the prototypes were off the scale and when I saw the Ford promotional material for the actual production model, I thought I saw....a bumper. A rear bumper.

on...the back of....a...GT40.

So, work has now begun to incorporate an '87 Ford Ranger rear bumper to the back of my prototype GT40 replica.

Is it still the case that trucks aren't required to have bumpers? If so, they can just classify it as a light truck (see: PT Cruiser) and there won't be a problem /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I too saw the bumper and couldn't bring myself to post about it. I thought if I didn't look for a while it might go away. I guess even a GT supercar has to pass the 5 mph bumper test.

I KHEW someone would ask that! Betty. I have gurney bubbles on both of my doors and I have taken to calling the car Betty. How do you think it would look with a couple of pasties stuck on the roof?
