Yesterday it was announced that the UK government will be ending the reciprocal health arrangements with the Isle of Man.

This basically means that you will require health insurance when travelling to the island. Emergency treatment will be given free but should inpatient treatment be required then you will need to pay or have insurance in place.
I can only guess at the effect this will have on the Islands economy in light of all the motorsport that takes place there including the upcoming Manx Classic Hill Climb event and obviously the TT.
