UK Buyer looking for a GT40

Hi guys, I am finally in the zone for buying.

I had once hoped to build my own, but with my work commitments, I seriously doubt that I could build one within 5 years! Therefore................................

Would anyone (preferably UK or Europe based), who is looking to sell their GT40 replicars please contact me here or via email.

Ideally I am looking for a completed car that would be suitable for weekend road use as well as Hillclimbs & Sprints at an amatuer level.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for that. I have seen the members' site and actually spoke to one of the owners last night, (the red GTD).

Based upon my own interpretation of various posts on the pro's ands con's of KVA Vs GTD, I am led to believe that GTD's are considered to be the better of the two. (Someone correct me if I am wrong in that assumption)

Certainly I could save circa 8 to 10,000 pounds if I bought a KVA over a GTD??? Having said that, a well sorted KVA with the correct powerplant would be well worth considering.

I have also been contacted by a guy in France who is selling a Blue GTD that I believe was previously owned by Simon Winter??? Also a Gentleman with a Yellow GTD also approached me. Both as a result of my replying to an eroneous post in the for sale section, which turned out to be almost 3 yars old.

Anyway, the red GTD sounds like an excellent car and the owner was very helpful and easy to talk to. However I also need to visit Sovereign and see their blue GTD. I would like to see as many as possible before choosing which to buy.
