There are several people who have had parts from this chap, he works in the boatbuilding business and has a really good understanding of glassfibre. I have seen stuff from him and (IMHO) it's top quality.

Surely all MKII tail sections are a copy of the original Ford part, including yours - or am I being naive. I would expect any GT40 body to be an exact replica of the original - the kit manufacturers always claim this.

I was commissioned by Ford to produce the Mk11 rear for the Goodwood main display cars a few years ago I personally had to create the MK11 clip in question over several weeks, because there were no MK11 body sections in the UK at the time.

If you think that KVA GTD and the rest are exact recreations of the original you are sadly mistaken, the GTD for instance has around 29 differences from the original door window size, windscreen size, door profile, wheel arch profile, nostril size and profile rear window size, rear clip profile around the screen ect, ect.

The superformance and the RCR are the two kits that are close to original.
