I found this while surfing for some vintage Ford info, but it's not limited to Fords. U.S. autos only, but goes WAAAY back (and all the way to the present) and covers many manufacturers, not just the big 3:

Great Find Doug and thanks for posting. Pity they didn't have anything for the road version GT40. That would have been cool to have.
