Fascinating. I wonder how many G's they experience when doing this. Being they are almost horizontal with the earth, and almost perpendicular with the surface, I suspect its more than just a couple. I would figure one G would force them into a 45º angle with the earth; two Gs, 30º, etc? (forgotten more about this than I remember)
