what size rims and tyres

what size rims and tyre sizes front and rear are you guys running.
Would there be any problems running vintage wheels on the road in the uk???
(not dot marked etc)

Hi Chris

My GTD is running fronts 9x17 with 245/45/17 P Zero Pirrelli tyres,
rears are 13x17 with 335/35/17 P Zero Pirrelli tyres. I recently stepped up fronts from 235 and the car feels much better to drive ie much less tram lining and improved steering.
Plus points for 17 inch rims are - more clearance for bigger brakes and currently wider choice of reasonably priced speed rated tyres.
Wheel and tyre choice is often discussed, some folks prefer 15 inch rims some prefer 17s - it's your car so go with what feels right for you.
I am unaware of DoT requirements for wheel rims re SVA but tyres should always be correct load and speed rated for each vehicle.
