Halibrand style rims

What do you mean "style"? They *are* Halibrand wheels (Zyglow'd and refinished).

You mean wheels, correct? Rims being the outer portion of the wheel that comes in contact with the tire. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Ron,
Yes I mean wheels, But the younger generation call wheels Rims. So if you don't what to be dated(considered old) use the word Rims.

Ben,
Do you have Original Halibrands?
You do know that there are companies out there that make Halibrand style rims. ie. PS Engineering, Team III Wheels, Motorsport Specialies, Trigo just to name a few.
Halibrand stop making there rims many years ago.

Set 'em on fire. If they burn really well, they were real. If not, they're just cheap aluminum knock-offs. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Damn, 35 and I'm dated! I'll have to be dated. But dated and correct! ;-)

Some dude came up to me a few months ago while I was fueling the Lotus and said "Nice props man!". Meaning, I think, nice wheels the car is propped up on. Strange.

Ron,
Here is the translation for "nice props man".
He's complementing you on your Lotus.

Sorry Ron your getting old before your time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No one has as set of "double dubs" on their '40?

Some "spinners" would look "bling" on a GT............ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I was given a die cast Ford GT model last month by a client, made my a company called "DUB city". He put it proudly on my shelf. If it were real they would have to be 24's. Boooooy is it cheesy looking!
