Wheels

I am vacillating on wheels even though I haven’t ordered my kit yet. Despite that slight hitch, I have been looking into various wheels in 15”. I found these offered by a company called splitrims.com. They are custom made and I could get them 15x8 for the front and 15x12 for the rear.

Would it be blasphemous to put wheels that aren’t Halibrand or BRM on a GT40? I would hate to be ostracized by the GT40 community.

Don't sweat it! I can't even spell ostridgesize. It's your car. Faili has similar wheels and nobody has sicked an ostridge on him,,,well at least not for the wheels.

If you want a more period look for these wheels just don't polish the spoke section.

Try here http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/pages/classic.html I think they are pretty much the same guys as split rims (they do identical stuff), I think it may be mor appeasing.
