D Don Jun 22, 2023 #2 I had mine fitted before painting, my painter did a fantastic job of pealing back the rubbers, but he did say he would have preferred to paint the car without the screen in. Good luck.

Randy V Moderator-Admin Staff member Admin Lifetime Supporter Jun 22, 2023 #4 I would recommend you fit it with the gasket, then remove for paint and reinstall… Have a Glass Guy do the install. They’ll use 5he proper sealant.
