WTT Ferrari, Porsche for gt40

Have new car itch and need to make room. I’m planning to list my F355 Berlinetta with gated 6-speed manual and my Porsche 993 manual Carrera. Thought I’d see if any gt40 owners had interest in working a trade plus minus cash before turning over to broker for sale.
Both the F355 and 993 are 1997 MY with 9/96 build dates which is kind of neat. The Ferrari is Rosso corsa over tan, the 993 black over classic grey with super rare factory hardback seats and RUF wheels, many upgrades. Both enthusiast owned, run great, fully sorted with great documentation and long term ownership for each.
Happy to discuss further. The f355 is valued at 160k, the 993 at 90k. I have a dealer who can do paperwork for trade benefitting those in states where tax an issue.
Thanks

Coming from relatively modern cars like those I think you'll find a GT40 is extremely basic in comparison. No creature comforts, not even roll down windows. Fantastic cars, but in no way at all like a modern sports car.

I was at the same decision point about a year ago. Ended up settling upon a 2024 C8 corvette and it has been very good. I didn't want to give up too many creature comforts in my old age. I had a 2023 C8 Z06 before that for a short time - if you need to go really fast that's the one to have.

Good luck with you choice!

Have to say, with about 4,000 miles on the 2024 C8 now, I'm super impressed. The car runs fantastic and is so immensely capable of very smooth high speed travel. The 2023 Z06 was faster, but a more harsh ride took away a lot of the every day pleasure.

Drove a whole day with the C8 at well over 100mph in the California/Nevada desert. We ran her up to 175mph at El Mirage and she still had a lot to go. Rock solid. I think she could easily catch the 194mph claimed top speed (no Z51). It's a LOT of car for the money, and made in America.

I remember my brother and I running an MGB GT up to 110mph on a deserted stretch of road when we were teenagers - felt like she was going to take off...couldn't barely steer it at all.

Thinking about adding a new E-ray to the stash...if I could find a dealer willing to sell me one.

Congrats on the C8 Cliff. I have a deposit on a ZO6(since 2021), and a ZR1 (since 2019). I am going to get one or the other, but probably not both. I am working on getting a RCR LOLA T70 MK3B from Fran with a Prestige all aluminum BBC. None of them will be every day drivers, but hoping my health holds out so I can enjoy them some. It sounds like you are able to get out and enjoy yours !!!

Regards Brian
