Vaughn's RCR Build

Here are some current pictures of the progress that Dale and I are making on the build. We have the engine and tranny installed and all of the plumbing and most of the wiring done. We just have a little more to do on wiring the dash and then we should be able to light the candle on this thing. Spent a lot of time polishing aluminum but I think it's going to pay off in the end. We're doing our best at hiding most of the wiring but that can be a real challenge with this particular car ( no place to hide). Not techno, here is the order I wanted.

Chuck, I used a billeted spark plug wire holder to keep the wires away from the manifold as you can see in this picture.I mounted it to the frame and it worked out real nice. No melting problems.

Runs like a scalded kitty.

He's done a great job putting together a beautiful car. I can't imagine how much time he's spent polishing aluminum, the chassis is a mirror!

Great work Vaughn!

Great looking car! Good to have a pic of Vaughn in here as well...
The second pic does not show up for me.. I could not find anything wrong with the link.

Chris,
Thanks for all the kind words. You were a HUGE help in sorting out the shifting linkage and electrical problems! The list just goes on ... The car shifts and runs like a dream now, thanks to you and all your hard work. You are definitely a linkage guru when it comes to ZF trannies. I'm so thankful that you took the time out of your busy schedule to come down and help me out! It was a real pleasure having you here and we are looking forward to you and Bea coming down and spending some time with us either here or in Alaska in the future.

Your friends,
Vaughn and Deb
