Yeah, these people vote

It scares me more that you vote. Time value of money, deficit v. surplus, GDP as a percentage of debt, all concepts lost on you.

I should have known. I'm not going to try to explain anything to you, you don't defend you're opinion, you slander and name call. You are the only person on this site I have absolutely no respect for. Go ahead have it, your opinion means nothing to me.

Ditto. I'm tired and fed up with your constant slandering of black folks, Muslims, the poor, Democrats, the left, etc. You offer no path forward other than criticism and hate.

Just stop. Please. Post jokes. Talk about cars. Do anything other than continue to hate and divide.

Come on Jeff, that was funny. It was on Kimmel. People can be funny being stupid. If those on the camera, just said I don't know, it wouldn't have been funny. Stop yourself and consider the facts. Al just showed what was a bit that was on TV. We don't know how many they edited out of the bit. No slander, no hate, just a reminder that people can be tricked by anyone.

Jeff,
Economics of society today are significantly different than what has worked in the past. We don't know the consequences of the current economic philosophies that are at work today. Mind you, we are concerned about the fact that we have a growing debt problem that shows no sign of backing off. Who will pay for this debt? That we do know, because we all have to pay our own bills, so will the government. And the only way they make money is raise taxes to pay them.

It was funny and that was what the paddock is for.

I can't find anything funny about people lying, and then squirming around to make it believable. For some reason (I've not yet figured out why), America relishes (even celebrates) stupidity. It's what appears to have the highest viewership or readership, which confounds me to no end. "Reality TV", bears no semblance to reality, yet there is enough interest and profit in these types of programs, that drives the creation of new ones.

I remember reading in a science publication about the highly noteworthy rapid rise of paranormal and non-scientific programs/beliefs/activities in Russia shortly after the Berlin wall was torn down. The study looked at it's consequences on their economy and politics. I'll be damn if not 10 years after reading that study, I see the same thing happening more and more here in the US. Man (humanity) truly is destined to become extinct through their own making and irrational behavior.

Terry,
It's low brow comedy obviously, elitist snobs that do it every day at work(its just business), look down upon it and snicker.
I think its funny because we the viewer know better and would not be caught in the lie and be edited out while the production crew adds a laugh track to make you laugh at someone else stupidity, and their compounding of the lie.

This is why I believe that we are being wrongly uneducated by television and those that are confirming it with reality tv.

Well, you made me watch it and it was infinitely worse than I imagined. I'm never going to get that precious 3mins 31secs of my life back again. Excruciatingly unfunny - no matter which country it is in. Fortunately, we don't (yet) have those kind of vox pops going on here - we haven't even got out of the pratfall genre yet. (Also excruciatingly unfunny)

Schadenfreude has never been my favourite comedy technique and I detest the smug bastards that revel in it.

That's my opinion.

I am sure the cutting room floor was littered....not. Sadly. Yes these people vote and it shows what an effect the media has on people, "what do you think of Obama's new earring."? Put a Mike and a camera there and it must be true.

it just goes to show that people will agree to anything put forward, to in their minds prove their not ignorant,
i remember a couple of years ago at a race day sitting with a mate and a guy comes along to admire my mates car, and we get talking about lotus sevens etc and he starts telling us about a mate of his that built the fastest 7 in new Zealand, told us all about the car and how he helped the guy build it etc, and most of the facts were spot on, except the guy that built it was me, and he had no idea who he was talking to.
Dazz didn't have the heart to tell him and i just played along , was worth a good laugh.

I think all of you guys have been wound up big time. I suspect these folks knew they were being asked nonsensical questions.

At least I pray so.

It's also worth pointing out that they undoubtedly edited out all the replies in which people said "Are you crazy? no such thing's occurred. You must be kidding."

You can't trust politicians, but you REALLY can't trust television folks at all. They are some of the biggest bullshitters on earth. I don't think these comments prove much of anything at all.

Besides, if they took the vote away from stupid people I'd be fucked.
